We are looking for a research engineer to analyzing the modifications of the ribosomal RNAs of Staphylococcus aureus under different stress conditions encountered during infections. This mapping will be carried out using a combination of innovative methodologies, including mass spectrometry, high-throughput sequencing, and cryo-electron microscopy. The impact on translation of the variations in rRNA modifications will be analyzed using an in vitro translation system. Mutations in the corresponding modifying enzymes will be performed to analyze their functions in the physiology and pathogenicity of S. aureus.
