A specialist in RNA viruses, Franck Martin, a researcher in the RNA Architecture and Reactivity Unit at the Institute of Molecular and Cellular Biology (IBMC) is working on SARS-CoV-2 in particular. The researcher is studying the protein of the virus that binds to the ribosome to force the cell to work for it.
