The mission of the project will consist in analyzing the function of regulatory RNAs of Staphylococcus aureus in an infectious context. In particular, the project will require the development and use of eukaryotic cells (i.e. immune cells) and mouse models for the study of host-pathogenic bacteria interactions. Different high-throughput sequencing approaches will be used to analyze RNA expression in these different infection models.
